Functional Safety Management

The management of functional safety is an essential part of the development of safety components in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

In particular, EN 61508-1 and DIN EN ISO 13849-1 set out the requirements in relation to the development of safety-related components and systems.

The entire life cycle of the product must be considered from the concept to the decommissioning of the product at the end of its life cycle.
